Very pleasant 2 night stay at Mariners in August. We wanted a seaview room with on site parking and that was delivered. Our room on the top floor was clean, albeit a bit small with a standard double bed, with limited headroom as built into the loft space, and ensuite a bit cramped/tired. However we realised this at time of booking as it was the only room available last minute and so not a surprise. The Hotel/B&B differentiates itself by having a bar and evening meals offerred on certain nights which is very useful as you do not have to go out in the evenings. Lias and Dean are perfect hosts , so helpful and courteous. mariners would be recommended by us.Thanks George and Kate - George C

Very impressed with the welcome and friendly relaxed environment. Lisa and Dean were excellent hosts and made our stay very enjoyable. The room as small but had an excellent seaview, if we manage to get to Seaton again we will definitely stay at The Mariners, but maybe go for a larger room. The breakfast offered many good choices of quality products, and the hot food was cooked to order and like the evening meal offered and cooked by Lisa, the food was excellent and home cooked. The weather was hot throughout our stay so we were able to make use of the outside terrace in order to enjoy the summer sunshine, watch the world go by whilst enjoying a glass of cold beer. Thank you for a most enjoyable few days on the Devon coast. - Michael W
